What is AI Tinkerers

AI Tinkerers is a meetup designed exclusively for practitioners with technical, machine learning, and entrepreneurial backgrounds who are actively building and working with foundation models, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.

If you’re deeply passionate about creating LLM-enabled applications, have hands-on experience in building such systems, and are eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share your level of commitment, then this group is the perfect fit for you.

✨This will be the first Tipsy Thursday to host at Hong Kong Science Park’s new startup showcase center called ARENA. The center is not usually opened for public, and was only opened recently in April 2025, so we are going to the early ones to have an exclusive tour through this event.

The AI Tinkerers Hong Kong meetups are designed for individuals with technical, machine learning, and entrepreneurial backgrounds who are actively building and working with foundation models, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.

We are actively looking for more demos related to AI! Demos are capped at 5 minutes, followed by a 5 minutes Q&A. No pitch decks! We’re eager to see your raw and exciting WIPs! Please use the “Demo Submission Form” link at the top of the page to apply! 🛠️

Since we have a very tight schedule for this meet-up, our slots for demos are limited, therefore, we might not be able to accommodate all submissions, but if you are interested, please submit it early, because even if you cannot demo this time, we have other meet-ups where you could shine.
