AI Tinkerers Event Classification Guide

Welcome to AI Tinkerers Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area. Our events range from casual networking meetups to hands-on technical workshops. To help you choose the right events for your interests and expertise, we use a 5-level classification system called “Circuit Levels.” 🔌

Understanding Circuit Levels

Level 3: Knowledge Circuit 💡

  • New tools, packages, and protocols
  • Some technical background helpful

Level 4: Interactive Circuit 🎮

  • Technical competitions and challenges
  • Group exercises and problem-solving
  • Technical knowledge required
  • Laptop recommended
  • Basic coding experience helpful
  • Example: “AI Model Optimization Challenge” - Compete to create the most efficient model

Level 5: Builder Circuit ⚡

Tips for Choosing Events

  • New to AI? Start with Level 1 or 2 events to build your network and understanding.
  • Looking to learn technical concepts? Level 3 events are perfect for you.
  • Ready to get hands-on? Jump into Level 4 and 5 events.
  • Mix and match levels to build both technical skills and professional connections.

Remember: Every level is valuable and serves different aspects of your AI journey. We encourage members to explore events across all Circuit Levels to build a well-rounded understanding of the AI ecosystem.

Join us at our next event - check the Circuit Level and come prepared to tinker, learn, and connect! 🚀

A big shout out to Kuala Lumpur Chapter for building this helpful guideline, and for letting the Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area Chapter use it as well!
