What is AI Tinkerers Hong Kong?

A** Tinkerers is a meetup** designed exclusively for practitioners with technical, machine learning, and entrepreneurial backgrounds who are actively building and working with foundation models, such as large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.

If you’re deeply passionate about utilizing AI, creating new use cases, developing LLM-enabled applications, or have hands-on experience in building such systems, this group is the perfect fit for you. Join us to connect with like-minded individuals.

Given our unique geographical position, one of the missions of the Hong Kong Chapter is to facilitate intellectual exchange on AI in the region and act as a bridge to share AI insights between the East and West. Although our primary meetup language is English, we welcome demo sharing in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

Who is this for?

With March being Art Month in Hong Kong, our meetup will spotlight Generative Art! This exciting fusion of algorithms and creativity opens up endless possibilities. We invite artists to explore various approaches, from abstract patterns to interactive installations. Whether you’re creating code-based visuals or AI-driven compositions, we welcome your innovative techniques and ideas.

Demo Submission We are actively looking for more demos related to Generative Art! A demo is about 5 minutes in length and demonstrates a work in progress. Pitch decks are forbidden - we want to see your messy work in progress! Please use the “Demo Submission Form” link at the top of the page to apply! We are actively looking for more presenters don’t be shy! Demos are capped at 5 minutes, followed by a 5 minutes Q&A. No pitch decks! We’re eager to see your raw and exciting WIPs! 🛠️
