As a PhD researcher at HKU, I’m working to move the needle from 'AI as a tool' to 'AI as a collaborator.' My background in Data and Systems Engineering allows me to look at LLM applications through a systematic lens—specifically within Digital Health. I’m passionate about Generative UI because I believe the next leap in tech isn't just better models, but more intuitive interfaces that adapt to the user. I’m here to explore how we can theoretically and practically design Agentic Interfaces that make life-changing technology accessible to everyone.

My current research at HKU focuses on the systematic development and evaluation of LLM-enabled loneliness support services for Hong Kong’s elderly population. I am investigating whether AI companionship and agentic interfaces can provide a theoretically sound solution to chronic social isolation. This work serves as a pilot for a framework exploring how agentic AI and multi-modal technologies can be deployed that the benefits of technological advancement are both inclusive and measurable.
