I am developing a first-of-its-kind AI tool for Cantonese lyric generation that automates the intricate process of tonal-melodic alignment. My architecture leverages audio-to-MIDI APIs to extract pitch data, which is then processed through the 0243 principle to guide an LLM trained on Jyutping and Cantonese phonology. By mapping musical notes directly to the language’s Nine Tones, I’ve created a technical solution for a historically manual creative process.
